Prepayment of excursions--making sure I understand

If I make and prepay shore excursions through the Cruise Personalizer, but do so before making final payment, are those shore excursions guaranteed/confirmed or can I get bumped by someone who reserves after me but makes their final payment before I do? I hope that is a clear question.

Your final payment date does not affect excursions at all. Now that we all have to prepay with $$ or OBC, you are guaranteed the spots that you paid for.

 

Edited to add: The above applies as long as you pay your final payment by the deadline. If you don't, your cruise will be cancelled and your excursions will be refunded.

When Princess gets the payment for an excursion, you are guaranteed a seat. Just remember to pay the final amount of the cruise before the due date or you will be canceled excursion and cruise. You can cancel the excursion usually two days before even if on the ship and the fee will be refunded to your folio account. Be sure to read the cancellation policy on the ticket you will be given when you board. It will be on the desk in your cabin.

No problem! If you've paid for the shore excursion, it's yours. It has nothing to do with when you make the final payment for the actual cruise. :D
