We cleared security and waited for our plane from Portland to arrive. It started to pour as we got ready to board. Alaska bought Virgin America and is in the process of combining the two. Living in Washington State, Alaska is our hometown airline. After flying along the Gulf of Mexico, we angled Northwest over the New Orleans area. I watched a movie, and when I took another picture we were over Colorado.
