Change of Address Question

Some family members have moved since our cruise was booked to a different state. They don't have enough time for a new driver's licence before the sail date because the licences are mailed . They are using a birth certificate for proof of residency. (Expired passport during a major move)

Does the address on the DL have to match the address on the cruise ticket? If so, can the luggage tags be mailed to a different address? They still own the house in the other state so it is a valid address; they just aren't there to get the mail!

Thanks!

There are times when one should call Celebrity, this is one of those times.

We were on hold and actually got somebody! The answer is that the address is okay and the luggage tags are being sent to the new house.

Just a note for others that might have a different concern: a birth certificate would not be proof of residence, but rather citizenship. If you needed proof of residence in a particular state you would need some other type of proof.
