Dropping rental car off at Alamo Miami airport

I will be dropping my rental off at Alamo at Miami airport. Will it be a breeze to get a taxi from Alamo to my hotel in downtown Miami?

There are always cabs lined at the Rental Car Center. After returning your rental vehicle at Alamo take the elevator to the top floor. Exit the building and the cabs are lined up directly across from the shuttle bus area. I have never seen less than twelve cabs lined up waiting for passengers.

How about returning the rental car to Alamo at MIA airport and then getting to Port of Miami? There will be four of us (two couples). Should we all go together to return the car and then UBER/taxi to Port of Miami? Thanks!

There are free Alamo shuttles at MIA to take you to POM. Just take the elevator to the 4th floor and you will see the signs Cruise Shuttles (to your right). Show the driver your rental agreement.
