Anyone that has switched from Celebrity to Viking Ocean? Would love feedback!

From the website: All Viking ship interiors, staterooms and balconies are nonsmoking except for the designated outdoor smoking area on the starboard side of Deck 8. Smoking restrictions also apply to e-cigarettes.

 

By the aft elevators. On Deck 8, there are a number of glass windbreaks (almost like cattle chutes) and the same glass barriers somewhat cordon off the smoking area.

 

From what I have been told we would have NO reason to ever pass this area and that’s great. Thank you Viking.

I don't think us Brits are paying over the odds. Our price includes air fare and gratuities. We have done 2 cruises so far and have an Alaska one booked for 2019 at a price we consider reasonable.

Ok. I checked the UK site for Alaska cruises and thought I’d seen that it didn’t include airfare. But now I see it does. So about $1200 more than what Aussies pay but with no airfare but we were lucky and also received $1000 OBC. It’s good that everyone thinks that prices are right.
