Stephanie816 Posted July 19, 2017 #1 Share Posted July 19, 2017 Hello everyone! Just booked my first cruise on HOTS for December. I have only paid the deposit so far. When I went to log into the Cruise planner it is not recognizing my booking reference and I get either a "your booking is being modified" or "try again later" error. Based on what I have read on here, RCCL has many issues with allowing you to access your cruise, but could this be due to the fact that I havent fully paid for my cruise yet. Thanks!! Clarea Posted July 19, 2017 #2 Share Posted July 19, 2017 No, the cruise does not need to be paid in full to add it to your My Cruises account. I'd make sure you have the correct RC booking number, not a travel agent booking number or group booking number. If you are sure about the RC bookign number, then call RC and ask them why you cannot add it to your account. Also give the back door a try: https://secure.royalcaribbean.com/beforeyouboard/getCountdownToCruise.do?cS=NAVBAR&pnav=3&snav=

SbbquilterUT Posted July 19, 2017 #4 Share Posted July 19, 2017 I also had to make sure that I was the "owner" of the cruise - then it quickly linked.
Stephanie816 Posted July 19, 2017 Author #5 Share Posted July 19, 2017 I also had to make sure that I was the "owner" of the cruise - then it quickly linked. How do I make sure I am the owner? I booked through a TA, is it possible they are listed as the owner?

If the system finds the booking number, name, date, and ship are consistent, and this is the first time it's linked to an account, then it will automatically ask if you want to be the owner. Ocean Dancer Posted July 19, 2017 #9 Share Posted July 19, 2017 I use a TA, and our booking # is NEVER there. I add it in Manually, and voila, everything is there including her name/address and all our info.
setsail Posted July 19, 2017 #10 Share Posted July 19, 2017 No, why do you think that? It's probably because I have been told that by the people who run the company
