Griff61 Posted July 23, 2017 #26 Share Posted July 23, 2017 BUT YOUR SOURCE is incorrect. There is no surcharge on Carnival for room service, there are for pay items and you should include a tip for the person delivering the food to you, but no surcharge attached. Perfect thanks so much !!!!! Sent from my SM-G950W using Forums mobile app

bobsfamily Posted July 23, 2017 #28 Share Posted July 23, 2017 Cruisemapper is wrong then.......... You are correct! Straight from the Carnival website: We have expanded our 24 hour stateroom service menu to include a variety of new in-cabin dining options for a fee. The fee-based choices include chicken wings, fried shrimp, quesadillas, personal pizzas and more. A wide range of items are available at no charge, including seven different hot and cold sandwiches, three salad choices, three desserts and beverages, as well as a Continental breakfast menu. The expanded room service menu is designed to significantly broaden and upgrade our culinary choices available for in-room delivery. These new fee-based options are simply intended to create even greater choice and variety for our guests. Bar items ordered through room service are charged at regular menu prices. The new features of the menu include: More choices and more variety including our core complimentary offer. A new section of 9 specialty items including pizza, wings, fried shrimp and more for a nominal charge ($5-$6 per selection). In the evening hours, ships that feature Bonsai Sushi also offer select items from this specialty restaurant such as California Rolls, Spicy Tuna and Tempura Rolls for a nominal charge ($5-$7 per selection). Ships with Bonsai Sushi include the Carnival Breeze, Carnival Dream, Carnival Horizon, Carnival Legend, Carnival Pride, Carnival Spirit, Carnival Sunshine and Carnival Vista. In addition to food items, beverages from the bar may be ordered through room service including liquor and wine by the bottle, which is limited to two bottles per day and must be consumed in the guest's stateroom. 24 Hour Room Service menu
Rare Honolulu Blue Posted July 25, 2017 #29 Share Posted July 25, 2017 I'm not a Philly Cheesesteak sandwich, but I did order it on the Paradise a few months ago and it was surprisingly good. Hot when delivered. My experience was the same on the Pride in March.
