The ones I've been on:

Tustemena - Kenai Peninsula

Columbia - Prince William Sound

Malaspina - Just west of Hubard near Yukatat

Matanuska - 100 mi East of Anchorage

Kennicott - Wrangell St. Elias National Park

I wouldn't have had any idea - I've never been to Alaska and probably never will - considering her temperatures in even mid-summer. I'll just watch from my warm Florida home. :eek:

When you pass by the Vigor shipyard while outbound north in Ketchikan, you can see the bow/fwd portion of the first of two brand new state ferries being built there. The tradition continues with that first vessel being named 'Tazlina' and her sister 'Hubbard'
