kingstonKouple72 Posted July 24, 2017 #1 Share Posted July 24, 2017 There is a sweet deal available on Equinox. Only available cabins are deck 3 3111 and a few more further forward. Not sure about noise. Any ideas? It is on hold for another few hours, Need to decide asap. Thanks in advance. Mark.
CYNSport Posted July 24, 2017 #2 Share Posted July 24, 2017 There is a sweet deal available on Equinox. Only available cabins are deck 3 3111 and a few more further forward. Not sure about noise. Any ideas? It is on hold for another few hours, Need to decide asap. Thanks in advance. Mark. I searched the Cabins Thread and found this post from 2012. Deck - 3 Cabin # - 3111 Class – 8 Starboard or Port Side - Port Bed near?(balcony or bath) – What balcony? Quiet Cabin? Are you kidding? The motivation for posting this entry is to warn future passengers; this room is UNDER THE QUASAR LOUNGE. Every night you will be subjected to SUBWOOFER THUMPING for TECHNO MUSIC until roughly 2 AM. (One night it went until 2:45 am)
awhcruiser Posted July 24, 2017 #3 Share Posted July 24, 2017 Guess it depends on whether or not noise would bother you,

gerelmx Posted July 25, 2017 #5 Share Posted July 25, 2017 Quasar is over 3111, I suggest you move to the center where shops are above your cabin, Casino and Celebrity central are over starboard side
Rare Cruise Raider Posted July 25, 2017 #6 Share Posted July 25, 2017 We booked in this location on the Solstice ... cannot remember the exact room number but it was approx 6-7 cabins up the hallway from the Passport Bar on the starboard side.... so directly above the casino. It was a very convenient location and pretty quiet. The only noise was from the outside ... guess it got a little rough and deck 3 is pretty close to the ocean. It was not bad at all, though....and the room was pretty much midship so didn't notice the motion ... just a slight bit of noise. I would book that room again in a heart beat. I understand that the ones further forward can be a bit noisy, though ... and of course, those under Quasar have also had some reported noise issues. When booking this cabin, I got a guaranteed ov and this is the room I was assigned. Once they assigned it to me, I asked them not to change it as I didn't want to be moved anywhere else after reading decent reviews in terms of noise. Like I said, even if I were choosing, I would choose that one again.
helen haywood Posted July 25, 2017 #7 Share Posted July 25, 2017 A cabin on Deck 3 could not be "directly above the casino." Sent from my iPhone using Forums
