Thanksgiving on Allure

Is the ship decorated in any way for Thanksgiving? The dining rooms? Just curious.

Don't know about the decorations, but there will be a turkey and stuffing choice for dinner.

My experience has been that they start decorating for Christmas right after Thanksgiving, so you might not have any Thanksgiving decorations but you most likely will have Christmas decor.

Our family of 10 cruised on Anthem last Thanksgiving. The Menu for Thanksgiving was special and included traditional as well as other nice offerings. My husband and I purchased decorations that we could pack, and little candy treats that were for Thanksgiving and we arrived early to the DR so we could decorate our table with them.

 

As luck had it, we happened to have the very first table in the DR so many commented on the nice job we did.

How was the Pumpkin Pie?

 

Those who had it said it was good. I had the Pecan...delicious.

 

My SIL is vegetarian and ordered the side dishes without the turkey and my brother ordered the lobster but with the turkey dinner side dishes and were accommodated.

 

Service was outstanding all week. Meals were mostly good so very pleased.
