Drinks package - are they worth it

The cards are different to packages. They are a pre-purchase of 10 or 15 drinks at a reduced rate and you are allowed to share them

 

People often don't know about the cards and how they may be shared. It really is a great option for those persons who don't want the drink package. There are some restrictions regarding what drinks are allowed on the cards price wise. Nothing over $12. Worked fine for us.

 

The drink cards became available to purchase a couple days after the ship embarked so we were able to easily use up the card since we were sharing one card.

If you look at the rules, you're not allowed to share with each other. You're fortunate you weren't caught.

 

The card was presented directly to the bartender when we ordered without any issue that we were sharing.

We have a back-to-back booked on Oasis next January. If the new rules require that if one of us wants a drink package, the other one has to also get one, can one of us buy the deluxe package and the other one the soda package?

When Royal had this rule before, they required the same package be purchased.
