We are sailing on the Eurodam to Hawaii on October 1st and wondering if anyone has taken the "Jewels of Hawaii: Allerton & McBryde Tropical Garden & Waterfall" excursion in Kauai. We have been to Kauai before but have not seen these sites. Any feedback appreciated.

We weren't on a cruise but took the tour of the gardens. Well worth it. Recommended it highly.

We took this tour on our round trip Vancouver Hawaii cruise. It's well worth taking! Both of us would highly recommend it! Questions?

We love Kauai and do land trips there. These gardens are wonderful but I would suggest renting a car. Skip the excursion, the island is very easy to drive. I'm not sure how much time you have. With a car you can visit other Poipu landmarks like Spouting Horn at your own pace. Maybe you will have time to see other areas as well.
