The_Big_M Posted July 31, 2017 #3 Share Posted July 31, 2017 They keep them coming. Just the queue of passengers waiting can sometimes be quite long.

If on Princess, have you looked at their shuttle transfer service? We are disembarking on 30 Jan 18 with $19.00 transfer fee per person from port to Sydney airport. Fletch1 Posted November 6, 2017 #6 Share Posted November 6, 2017 I agree with previous posters.....all the times we have disembarked at White Bay (6-7 times), there have been plenty of taxis available. Apart from the ship transfer, there is really no other "public" way out of White Bay, so taxis make a bee line to the cruise terminal as the drivers know it usually involves a good fare. Our last time there, our taxi driver said our trip was his third fare for the morning to the airport. The queue is usually not that long, and if you can get another couple in the queue going to the same destination as you and they agree to share, it works out a lot cheaper. The Princess shuttles go to Central Station or the Airport dropping at domestic and international terminals. In Sydney it's an exceptionally good deal. But as others have said there are plenty of taxis.
wagtail_syd Posted November 12, 2017 #8 Share Posted November 12, 2017 No taxi queue whatsoever when we disembarked. It was all very efficient. Agree about sharing with another couple to keep the costs down. Plenty of people will be heading for the airport.

Thanks. 4 passengers yes, but only room for about 2 suitcases usually. If more than that you'd need a maxi-taxi (van), though they're less frequent so the wait will likely be longer.
