DRPWDunIL Posted July 30, 2017 #1 Share Posted July 30, 2017 Recognizing that things can change and situations can differ from cruise to cruise, at which of the following ports is a tender required to reach shore: Amber Cove, St. Kitts, St. Thomas, Barbados, Martinique, and Antigua? Making shore excursion decisions and want to know which ports will require a tender if we choose to go ashore on our own. Thanks in advance for any assistance. skynight Posted July 30, 2017 #2 Share Posted July 30, 2017 No tenders at these ports. If you look at the itinerary in your cruise personlizer under calendar and planning it will mention if the port is a tender port. If nothing mentioned it is a docked port. Colo Cruiser Posted July 30, 2017 #3 Share Posted July 30, 2017 (edited) Dock at all of them you list. Never been to Amber Cove so not sure about that. Edited July 30, 2017 by Colo Cruiser
elfinmagic Posted July 30, 2017 #4 Share Posted July 30, 2017 Grand Cayman is the only tender and you are not going there - Princess Cay, of course, os tender and you will stop there depending on weather. Amber Cove, I think, is a new port off of Haiti - we were there but do not remember if it is a tender - we rarely leave the ship since we have seen all of the islands several times. easyboy Posted July 30, 2017 #5 Share Posted July 30, 2017 When booked online, the reservation confirmation email also specifies on the Booking Itinerary if port requires tender.

Mom33 Posted July 30, 2017 #7 Share Posted July 30, 2017 Your itinerary will tell you what the port stop is.Once, when we were in St.Thomas, we anchored in the harbor and tendered because the port was over crowded and all dockage was taken.
