Super Bowl Cruise!

We are aboard the Vista starting February 4. Super Bowl Sunday. Does Carnival do anything special for the Super Bowl? Where can we watch the game?

All of the cruise lines do. Try a search for Super Bowl cruise. My experience has been on Princess and HAL. EM

If history repeats, they will show the Super Bowl game on the big screen on deck as well as on other screens around the ship. They typically provide Super Bowl snacks on deck too.

When we sailed in 2016 the Super Bowl was also shown in the large showroom.

The big screen.

You bet they do, food and snacks are plentiful, lots of grab and go food from the dining room.

 

It's a foot race after muster to get the chairs and loungers by the pool, when we sailed from Galveston it was cooler than my wife wanted outside so I dashed to the main show lounge to get one of the two seat benches on the glass in the first balcony tier. It was nearly full in less than ten minutes, stayed that way, and bar waiters were plentiful. We took turns going to the bathroom or to get food or drink refills.

 

The Welcome Aboard Show was on about fifteen minutes after the game.

Some CDs will have games and trivia going on during the breaks.

Our first cruise was the Super Bowl cruise on the Breeze this year. Had a blast. As others have said, the game was shown on many of the big screens around the ship. We watched a good portion of the game from the main theater and the overtime from the Lido deck. You are gonna enjoy it!

We've sailed on Super Bowl Sunday many times. It's a blast! Like others have said it's on all over the ship. One year we were on the lido deck during the National Anthem the feed we out - without missing a beat the entire lido deck continued singing, when the feed came back we were right with the tv. Very moving moment for all. Don't forget to wear your home team gear. We're from Detroit so people felt sorry for us - except Cleveland fans - we felt sorry for each other:)
