I made a reservation for the Chef's table but can I opt out once on board?

You can, but if you're thinking of not doing it go ahead and cancel now so someone else doesn't get get blocked from booking...

My emails states that there is a $25 fee for cancellation within 24 hours of the event.

Dont opt out. My wife and I just did this on the Sunshine and it was one of the best experiences we ever had on a ship. Its much more than a meal. We have done the steakhouse before and after that we decided never to pay extra for food again on a cruise. However this was an experience not just a meal.

I know the latest menu was inaugurated on the Vista and then after tweaking was adopted by the Magic, Breeze, and Dream.

 

I hope someone else will tell you if it is now on the Glory or even fleet wide.
