spangnash Posted August 15, 2017 #1 Share Posted August 15, 2017 Is it correct that the 'Late Departure Option' (that allows you to pay an extra fee to hang around the ship for awhile the last day of the cruise) is only available on select cruises? We've sailed RCCL twice on Brilliance of the Seas in the Mediterranean, but will now be sailing the Caribbean on Allure.

Sea_Salt_Sailor Posted August 15, 2017 #7 Share Posted August 15, 2017 Not available in any ship departing from US Port including Puerto Rico... All North America sailing must obtain general clearance from US Customs indicating that all guests are off the ship in order to start embarkation with new guests. Wow, I am all about that. Where do I sign up. AA just changed my MCO departure flights from 11:30 AM to 3:30 PM so now I have to figure out what to do with two GD's (5&3). Biker19 Posted August 16, 2017 #11 Share Posted August 16, 2017 Wow, I am all about that. Where do I sign up.. As was mentioned you can't when sailing out of PC, besides you can probably do something fairly nice at $35pp off the ship as well.

Norwich Cruiser Posted August 16, 2017 #13 Share Posted August 16, 2017 We have had both a "flyer" in our cabin offering the option a few nights before debarkation and another time it was advertised in the cruise compass. Rare little britain Posted August 16, 2017 #15 Share Posted August 16, 2017 It is not offered in the USA as the ships have to have zero passengers before boarding can start. In Europe it is $39 You still have to vacate your cabin by 8;30, but get to eat one more lunch at the Windjammer [emoji39] Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
