What airline are you flying out of LAX, and what day of the week?

 

Terminal 1 (Southwest) can have large security lines that can take a while to get through.

 

If you are on a Saturday or Sunday the traffic will most likely be light. Our experience on coming back to San Pedro is that customs goes very quickly, so you should have no trouble making a flight at noon on a weekend. If you are coming back on a weekday there can be some traffic.

We recently booked a car for 4 on SuperShuttle ... it doesn't wait to fill up and the price was rather reasonable with our AAA discount. Also, no other stops on the way will be made since the car is just for the 4 of you. Be sure to try to get walk off as you will want to be to the airport by 10 AM at the very latest to be on the safe side. Sometimes, things get behind during disembarkation or traffic can be bad.

Uber / Lyft would also be good options ...just don't choose the pool.

Traffic getting into LAX really really really bad !!!! Can't stress that enough any time of day, so be sure you allow extra time .

We booked Super Shuttle pvt car for 9 a.m., Infinity is due into port at 7 am.. We plan to do Walk Off as soon as possible but are not in a suite

( we assume E + still has to line up)

 

. Our flight is at 1:20 -pm on Southwest,.,

 

. Is 9:00 am a good time for our pick up or should we have gone for 8:30? Thanks...never used LAX..

I think you'll be OK for a 1:20 flight. Traffic won't (well shouldn't be) bad on a holiday at 9 AM.
