Formal night on Grandeur of the Seas for elderly

Hello! Taking 87-year old parents on their first cruise next month.:D 5-night to Bermuda from Baltimore. Mom can't wear dresses due to foot issues. She has a very nice pants suit (light grey pants with billowy floral blouse) but she's worried it's not dressy enough for formal night. I will have to dress down somewhat so she doesn't feel self conscious (short dress). Hubbies will be in suits/ties. Will this be okay on RC? We've only sailed Carnival and I know it would be fine on that line but wasn't sure about RC. Thanks!
