Booked Next Cruise While Onboard

Recommended Posts

Your "FWIW" was helpful. I'm not sure they understand this. Based on how you laid this out, if they changed today, they would only have 12 months to book another. So, if they really want to book Symphony for August 2019, they should sit on their current reservation (which is for August 2018) until the last possible minute? Of course, then final payments are made, etc. Of course, I don't know what their deposit was so I don't know what is non-refundable.

I'm confused. I think I'll let them deal with it!

I believe you are correct. If they "sit" on the current reservation until the 2019 Symphony cruises come out next spring, they will lose $200 of their non-refundable deposit due to the change fees, but whatever $$ in deposits is left will be put on a future cruise certificate that they could apply to their Symphony cruise.
