I think given the large European number of pax, it isn't something the CL worries about as much.

 

On the contrary

 

This is the sign that you will most likely see when boarding at any port of call. There will probably an officer, from security, and a member of the crew waiting to take your bottle(s) into care for you until the last night of your cruise

What about soft drinks and water, can you bring these onboard? thanks

but many people on these boards say they had no problems taking some soft drinks on board

 

I think it is all down to how the duty security officer is feeling that day
