HvySeezFcstr Posted September 12, 2017 #1 Share Posted September 12, 2017 Are there activities for seniors on Carnival? What is the primary age group on a Carnival cruise. How are the Alaska Cruises on Carnival on the Legend?
RWolver672 Posted September 12, 2017 #2 Share Posted September 12, 2017 You will see every age group on Carnival cruises from babies to 80's. A lot depends on how many days the cruise is. The shorter ones have the younger crowd where the 8 day and above seem to have the older crowd. The last I heard, the average age on the majority of the cruises is in the 40's. There is plenty to do for any age bracket. There's several shows, miniature golf, bingo, gigantic chess sets, pools, hot tubs, people watch, etc.
riffatsea Posted September 12, 2017 #3 Share Posted September 12, 2017 Hi, We are seniors and have been sailing mostly with Carnival for many years. The longer cruises to Hawaii, Panama Canal and Alaska will have lots of seniors because that's who has the time off. There will be fewer children and fewer younger couples. There will be a mix of ages but you should still be able to enjoy the time on board as we do!
Rare Roz Posted September 12, 2017 #4 Share Posted September 12, 2017 What types of "senior" activities are you looking for? Most of the activities are attended by a wide range of ages, so I'm not sure what you're referring to. Roz
waterwatcher Posted September 13, 2017 #5 Share Posted September 13, 2017 There are shows, Comedy Club, trivia games, nice dinners in the dining room, have a drink at any of the bars, shop in the gift shops, enjoy karaoke, sit out on deck and relax, play minigolf, take a nap in your room. Gamble in the casino. Visit the art gallery auction. So many things to do!
Unclearnie Posted September 13, 2017 #6 Share Posted September 13, 2017 If you like to read you, will find nothing more relaxing that sitting on your balcony on a warm afternoon with the sea breeze keeping you cool. Bring a good book or charge up your Kindle.
