Elaine5715 Posted September 18, 2017 #51 Share Posted September 18, 2017 Just throwing this out to give benefit of doubt, but does it say in Funtimes or elsewhere onboard please arrive by , say, 615 for 6pm seating? I wonder if some people think 6pm early seating means 6pm is the earliest you could arrive and not necessarily that you are actually expected then. There is a sign in front of the dining room inviting any guest arriving 20 minutes late to eat on Lido. I also saw people redirected on the Conquest. I don't see it in the FunTimes, but that's what I had said previously in post #25 - that maybe Carnival needs to make it more well known that the time on your card IS dinner time, and not a guideline. Although I seem to recall seeing a sign out front stating that if you were 15 (or maybe 30 minutes) late that admittance would be denied, and you could enjoy dinner on Lido or something similar to that. But since I didn't take a picture, I can't be 100% sure. Maybe someone else can confirm.
Elaine5715 Posted September 18, 2017 #53 Share Posted September 18, 2017 The staff dislike assigned time dining people in the ATD dining room because the ATD staff aren't on their gratuities allocation .
