Daghis Posted September 17, 2017 #1 Share Posted September 17, 2017 I'm sailing on Anthem of the Seas for Halloween this year, and figuring that there'll likely be a costume party, I'm bringing a costume. One of the props for my costume is a ~5' plastic staff. Looking on the prohibited items list, there's nothing about staves, not that I imagine they are that commonly brought aboard anyway. Does anyone here have any experience bringing props onboard for costumes that might otherwise raise an eyebrow by port security? The staff was only $20, so, worst case, I discard it at security and enjoy the cruise with the rest of my costume for Halloween.
Magicat Posted September 17, 2017 #2 Share Posted September 17, 2017 I had a plastic sword and axe so you should not have a problem.

Magicat Posted September 18, 2017 #5 Share Posted September 18, 2017 Checked luggage. Brought the sword on 2 different Halloween cruises and the axe on one. Hmmmm I see a pattern happening here. LOL
