What night is formal night?

Elegant Nights are usually the evening of the first Sea day from what I've been told (I've only gone on one cruise so far but I've looked over the FunTimes of several iteneraries). Some people go all out with suits/ties or tuxes and formal dresses. Some people dress what I call "church nice". Some dress is "business casual" and some wear jeans and a shirt. Generally shorts/t-shirts/flip-flops are frowned upon but there will be those that wear them anyhow.

Your 6PM dining time is the time you are required to arrive at your assigned dining room each evening. If you wish to dine at a later time you will need to eat on the Lido deck at the buffet or one of the specialty resaturants.

IF you tell folks what cruise you are on they can tell you for sure which night/s are "elegant" night.

Usually there are 2 on cruises of 5 days or longer.

The first one is usually the night of your first full day on the ship.

You don't have to get too dressed up unless you want to do that.

For men all that is required is a shirt with a collar and slacks.

Women have lots of choices.

You have signed up for the assigned early dining at 6 PM.

That means you will have the same table each night and should arrive in the main dining room by 6.

IF you don't want to eat at that time you'll have the choice of going to the Lido deck and using whatever options are open on your particular ship.
