Excursions at the port

This is our first stop at Roatan. Has any one just taken a tour when you arrived at the port without booking ahead of time? We are already planning a beach day at another stop. DH isn't crazy about the beach. We can't really decide what we want to do & were thinking we would just go with what we are in the mood for the day we arrive.

Which port? Roatan has two ports, Coxen Hole and Mahogany Bay.

At Coxen Hole, you can book excursions at the kiosks there. At Mahogany Bay, non-ship excursion vendors have to wait outside the gate which is over a small hill once outside the shopping area. Most vendors will be waiting for prebooked folks, but there may be some island tours available. Can't opine on who or how good or what prices these would be.
