anytime dining.......tables

Hi,

We like having a table for 2 each night unless we meet folks with whom we'd like to dine.

You just go up to the podium and the hostess/host will ask how many and your cabin number. Then you will be seated at your own table.

IF you want to sit with others just arrange to meet at the dining room and walk in together.

we are set for anytime dining. we like to sit by ourselves. do we need to let carnival/our PVP know ahead of time, or just whenever we show up to eat dinner, just tell them then?

You need to specify when booking your cruise, whether with a travel agent or a pvp at Carnival, that you want anytime dining or otherwise. I see you have already been allocated "your time dining" so all you have to do is show up at the specified dining room for that, at whatever time you wish to dine on a given day, and then tell the hostess that you prefer a table for two. They will accomodate your request, and my experience is that there are plenty of tables for two in the dining room for "your time dining"

and yes, the tables are mostly very close together, though some are a bit further apart, so again, make a request with the hostess for a more private table, and hopefully they can accomodate .
