Royal Princess WiFi Thanksgiving

I was looking at booking a thanksgiving cruise for next year on the Royal Princess. My family needs WiFi to do business work onboard. We would love to sail on her due to her amazing itinerary. Does anyone have experience with Royal Princess’s WiFi during a holiday cruise. If so how did it spare? Thank you for any input in advance!

Currently the internet (wi-fi) is slow. It is quicker during lower use times such as late evening, early morning and port days. If you just want to use e-mail that isn't an issue, but if you need to be on for hours you may get frustrated. The current internet cost is 120 mins for $69, 240 mins for $99, 460 mins. for $159 and 680 mins for $199.

Carnival Corp has just announced that the intends to roll out a Medallion Internet Service for it's brands. The service uses the O.C.E.A.N. Medallion platform. No ships, roll out timing or costs have been reported, but since the Royal Princess will have the Medallion platform starting January 2018 it is possible the ship will be one of the first to get the new internet service.
