Excursions advice/opinions

Hey Guys,

 

We stop at Cozumel on NCL Getaway on the 24th of Nov and would just like to honest opinions on excursions and recommendations.

 

We have seen some on NCLs own sites and two tickle our fancy.

 

The first being Xplor - Has anyone done this? Whats it like? How easy was transport to get to should we do it on our own?

 

The second was Playa Mia Flavours and Traditions of Mexico again has anyone experience of this??

 

Any other suggestions (excluding just the beach/snorkelling)

Haven't done either but I will warn you that Xplor is on the mainland so will involve a considerable amount of travel time thus reducing the time at the actual place. I would save it for a mainland vacation but YMMV. I would certainly not do it on my own as it would involve taxi (unless you dock downtown) / ferry / taxi there and then return and fitting in with ferry schedule.

 

playa Mia is on the island and would only involve taxi which you could certainly do by yourself. Check out their website to see package options - not sure what the flavors and traditions part is.
