i have a personal Verizon mifi; will I be able to use it on the ship or will I still have to buy and connect to the ships wifi? Thanks in advance

Your Verizon mifi works off cellular coverage.

You're going to pay out the wazzu to the ship to connect to their cell tower.

Agree, this is the worst possible internet option. Wifi has a set cost if you purchase on the ship. This device lets you bypass the wifi to connect to cellular networks. Costs will be astronomical. Roaming data sells in the range of $2,000 a gigabyte

You will need to purchase an internet plan on the ship and do your surfing thru it.
