Oasis class- cabin category differences

Recommended Posts

I’ve booked two guarantee cabins on Allure. One was assigned right away (less than a day) and a week later, the other one is still unassigned.

The one that is assigned got a nice assignment- D2 with the extended balcony, midship on deck 10. Reviewing the balconies still available got me wondering why they alternate categories.

That is- in these bump out extended balconies, they alternate D2, D3, D2. However, they appear identical. Anyone know why they do this?
