bb2 Posted October 7, 2017 #1 Share Posted October 7, 2017 Hello, my husband and I would like to check out Smith Cove. I would like to determine whether it's feasible to take the city bus (green #6 or 7) both ways or better to take a cab. I'm having trouble finding up to date information which compares both options in terms or costs, pick up points, schedule and reliability etc... Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you - Barbara
Capt_BJ Posted October 7, 2017 #2 Share Posted October 7, 2017 in the past, the bus route to that side of town was very unreliable according to the folks at Sunset House, and recently Cayman expert Drew has warned that the routes have changed. Dunno if that's for the better or worse in this case. it is easily taxi'able .... and not all that bad of a walk either ..... (IMO, but I consider 5 miles just 'a stretch of the legs', main tender landing to Smith's is about 1.5 miles <with Sunset House and My Bar 'tween>)
bookbabe Posted October 7, 2017 #3 Share Posted October 7, 2017 I'd walk or take a taxi. It's not far from the port.
