Richjoxyz Posted October 14, 2017 #1 Share Posted October 14, 2017 These are the only cabins available for a cruise that many family members booked previously. (Except for a few wheelchair accessible cabins and one cabin with an adjoining door.) Which is better, 8022 or 8092 on the Rhapsody?
leaveitallbehind Posted October 14, 2017 #2 Share Posted October 14, 2017 (edited) Which is better? In what ways? They are both JS's, so exactly the same in that regard. 8022 has a sofa bed and is much closer to the elevator banks / stairwells, being essentially midway between the forward and main banks. That would be convenient in that regard. 8092 is far aft and would be a much longer walk the the main elevator banks. It also does not have a sofa bed. 8022 would likely feel the up and down motion of the ship more than the aft location. Neither are adjoining staterooms. The pool deck is above 8022 - there is the possibility of noise from chairs being moved. 8092 has the spa and fitness center above it - I guess there is the possibility of some noise associated with that as well. Up to you based on that as to which one you would prefer. Edited October 14, 2017 by leaveitallbehind

leaveitallbehind Posted October 14, 2017 #4 Share Posted October 14, 2017 My largest concern is noise at night that would impact our ability yo sleep. Thank you for your response. I don't think that would be a big concern. The chairs are usually lined up early in the evening. Sometimes they are moved around early in the morning. But during the night while you are sleeping I don't think there would be anything to disturb you.
Rare lazydayz Posted October 14, 2017 #5 Share Posted October 14, 2017 Please reconsider the one under the pool. I have heard the pools chairs being moved at all hours of the night. If you are a light sleeper, it could be an issue.
