Clarea Posted October 19, 2017 #2 Share Posted October 19, 2017 Does anyone know if there is a way to see what specific cabins are still available for each ship on upcoming Royal Caribbean cruises? Thank-you. If you use RC's UK website, it shows many more available staterooms than the US website: http://www.royalcaribbean.co.uk

CruiserBruce Posted October 19, 2017 #5 Share Posted October 19, 2017 Just be aware that there is a hidden trick to this- you have no idea how many guarantee (GTY, for short)bookings there are. If you are looking at a category where there are, for example, 30 cabins. 10 are booked and assigned in a standard manner, and they show up as not available. 19 are booked GTY, so really, only one cabin is available. You look in and see 20 available cabins, and take a few minutes to consider your choices. In the mean time, someone, someplace else, books a cabin in that category. Suddenly that category will be full, as the the 19 GTY cabins are committed, but not assigned. So looking at a website to see available cabins can be a bit misleading. This most commonly misleading late in the booking process for a cruise...say the last 30 or 45 days.
queenfrostine22 Posted October 19, 2017 Author #6 Share Posted October 19, 2017 thank you too, cruiser bruce. i am beginning to get the picture. without a travel agent this is not going to be an easy feat. i wish royal caribbean had a more consumer friendly website. it can be a pain in the butt;p
