What are the cost of photos these days? Have not sailed with Princess for about 3 or 4 years. Do they still have two sizes of photos or are they all just one size now. In the past they had the formal photos in 8X10 and the others in a smaller size. Thanks for any info.

And yet, we do sometimes offer helpful and/or relevant comments, and you know it Florida...

It's not a fantasy world per say, just the fun one when we cruise. My husband enjoys, if I am in the casino, going to the bar, pointing me out to a cocktail server, and saying "I'd like to buy the Countess a drink". Our "home" world is one of very responsible high level jobs, so when we are on cruise critic and on a cruise, we do take the time to relax, unwind, and maybe not entirely be our "adult" stodgy selves. If you don't like it, so sorry, but I do think that it beats being a super cynical personality when on the boards, which as observed by many, have turned into a complaint and venting outlet...

Love the attitude! Some people are just way to serious when it's not called for. We love having a good time and laughing...some will enjoy along with the group while others have that look on their face like "what are they so cheery about"...just like why we dress to the nines while on the ship for formal nights, because we can't dress that way on a normal day (wife wears scrubs most days and I have to do the business casual)...vacation should feel different than normal days...eat, drink, dress up (or not), be merry, laugh out loud!!!

aww rotti lover. My not contributing to a thread thats really needs no contribution or cross examination from me, has you wondering. I am a man with a sense of humor, so in the case of my "Dilly ... Dilly" response it means , I agree, I like it, good form..... so if "Dilly ... Dilly annoys you then I'll assume the long cold New England winters have taken a toll on your sense of humor. In any case as for the "Dilly ... Dilly" I have chosen it for my saying on my next cruise and will use it in place of saying get the hell outta the buffet line or get you phat arse off the elevator and when a couple walks into the dinning room wearing jeans and polo shirts on formal night I will raise my glass to them and exclaim DILLI ...DILLY !

Carolyn

the port photos were like 5x7 size where as the formal and casual photos were 8x10 and most of the photos were like 25 dollars

The package was $249 on Royal last week. We bought a few pics and paid extra for the USB images. When I got home and looked at the files, they were low resolution images! I should have gotten the same hi-res files that came off the camera. I sent an email to Princess, we'll see what happens.

At this point why don't you just scan the photo's until (or if) they send you the new thumb drive. Since they don't save the pictures from each cruise they'll probably just credit you back the extra charge.

Okay, I've just got to ask . . . I've noticed you on lots of threads recently with posts that seem to say nothing at all (random, non-contributory to the question or topic), then followed by your "dilly dilly". What gives? I can't be the only one wondering. We all post random things sometimes, but you do know your posts are weird and unhelpful, right?:o

To the Pit of Misery with you.

Dilly Dilly.
