Grand - Long Beach Fall 2019

I just heard a rumor that Princess Cruise Lines has asked the city of Long Beach for a permanent berth for the Grand for 2019.

 

The intent is to make the Grand a museum to show how people cruised in the ‘90,s.

 

Supposedly the ship will be berthed adjacent to Queen Mary to show moderate improvements since the QM was retired.

Wow! Haven’t heard that one. I’d be very surprised. It costs a lot of money to maintain the QM. Doubt they’d want to maintain another ship.

I am thinking it is the OP's sense of humor. It made me laugh ... mostly because all really good humor is based on a shred of truth. Am I right?? LOL
