WhiskeyTangoFoxtrot Posted October 29, 2017 #1 Share Posted October 29, 2017 Has anyone been here? Thinking about doing a beach day here next week... Are the “vendors” aggressive? We’ll probably just pay the $10 and then pay as we go. Thanks in advance...

WhiskeyTangoFoxtrot Posted November 24, 2017 Author #3 Share Posted November 24, 2017 Nope. We shopped a little in the port and went back to the ship.
Rare Itchy&Scratchy Posted November 27, 2017 #4 Share Posted November 27, 2017 (edited) ok, we did it this week. So not worth it.... Murky water full of seaweed. The water wasn't blue at all. Vendors were not too aggressive and mostly stayed to the far side of the beach. We were supposed to have free wifi and even got the password on our arm bands, but my phone never got enough "juice" to connect to any internet. Basically, if you've been to Red Stripe beach and liked it - it's going to be pretty similar. There was music and a DJ with some line dancing and games for kids. A lot of people enjoyed massages on the beach. P.S. Forgot to say - the chaises were very old, rickety and dirty. Rare Itchy&Scratchy Posted November 27, 2017 #6 Share Posted November 27, 2017 ETA: the taxi ride was less than 5 minutes but cost $20 pp roundtrip. That's A LOT and not worth it. We caught the taxi in port (I hear it's $10 pp roundtrip if you get a taxi outside the port), because my dad can't walk far. The positive moment was that the same driver was already waiting for us when we were ready to leave. We paid $21 each way for a total of 5 people for a much longer taxi ride in Cozumel. I'm sorry your experience was subpar. We ended up staying aboard for the day.
