jagsfan Posted November 3, 2017 #1 Share Posted November 3, 2017 One of the best things about Oasis is the Park Café and the famous roast beef sandwich. I think I read somewhere that Serenade has Beef on a Weck somewhere on the ship. Does anyone know if that's true, and where we can find it? handbellplayer Posted November 3, 2017 #2 Share Posted November 3, 2017 They had them everyday in the Park Cafe on our New England cruise in September.
bigairboarder44 Posted November 3, 2017 #3 Share Posted November 3, 2017 I read that any ship with a Park Cafe has the beef on weck sandwiches (super excited for Allure :D ). Park Cafe was in the solarium on the Jewel, I would assume it'd be similar on the Serenade.
jagsfan Posted November 3, 2017 Author #4 Share Posted November 3, 2017 Thanks. I didn't see any mention of a Park Café on Serenade's Deck Plans. I'm glad to know there is one.
#1cruiseaholic Posted November 3, 2017 #5 Share Posted November 3, 2017 Thanks. I didn't see any mention of a Park Café on Serenade's Deck Plans. I'm glad to know there is one. Just got off Serenade on Monday and had beef sandwiches three days at Park cafe in Solarium. It went to dry dock right after our cruise so keep your fingers crossed that they keep the sandwiches just as they are.
EatonDoolittle Posted November 3, 2017 #6 Share Posted November 3, 2017 Thanks. I didn't see any mention of a Park Café on Serenade's Deck Plans. I'm glad to know there is one. Yes, it's in a corner of the Solarium on the Serenade. Caution, tho; it is humid, smelly, and claustrophobic in that area, so enter the food area (not really a "cafe") from the pool on the starboard side to limit exposure to the Solarium, or risk losing your appetite. travelplus Posted November 3, 2017 #7 Share Posted November 3, 2017 I will eat as many of them as humanly possible on my April 2018 Briliance Trans Atlantic.
Newby58 Posted November 3, 2017 #8 Share Posted November 3, 2017 I thought the roast beef rolls were fleet wide? I’ve had one , ok, maybe two, on all the ships I have been on i.e. Voyager, Explorer, Ovation and Radiance. RobinCruiser Posted November 3, 2017 #9 Share Posted November 3, 2017 Does anyone know if the Park Café offer Jive Turkey sandwiches? They were DH's favourite on Adventure.
George C Posted November 4, 2017 #10 Share Posted November 4, 2017 If you really want a good one, need to go around Buffalo NY, always get my fill of them and there wings

I am forever grateful to Buffalo for Beef on a Weck and Buffalo Wings. And for being the Gateway to Niagara Falls! arcticcatmatt Posted November 6, 2017 #12 Share Posted November 6, 2017 beef on weck is a Western NY thing. I'm 37 and have eaten it my whole life having grown up in Western NY (Gerry). Some external places really mess it up.
