Hi,

I am slowly getting ready for our cruise and I printed the Cruise Ticket Booklet.

One of the printed pages has some information about Samsung Galaxy Note 7,

perhaps it might be of some interest to those who are planning on taken it with them on a cruise.

Here below is the copied section from my Guest Ticket Booklet:

7 NIGHT WESTERN CARIBBEAN CRUISE

RHAPSODY OF THE SEAS 03 DEC 2017

GUEST TICKET BOOKLET

Things To Know Continued

Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Update

Please note that Royal Caribbean International does not

allow Samsung Galaxy Note 7 cell phones onboard our

ships. This decision was made in light of recent (October

2016) incidents and safety concerns raised by Samsung

about this particular device, as well as the Federal Aviation

Administration (FAA) recent ban of the phone from all

airplanes. We ask that guests who own a Samsung Galaxy

Note 7 not bring the device on your cruise. We appreciate

your understanding and cooperation, and look forward to

welcoming you aboard.

The date "October 17, 2017 7:44AM " is printed on the page -- so it must be a recent information

No one should have a note 7 and they defiantly don't have a working note 7 anymore, if they have one at all.

There must be a reason why RCI prints this "update" in the Guest Ticket Booklet, perhaps there are some people out there that bring the note 7 with them ..... even if it does not work.

or whoever writes the documents / booklets left this info from some previous booklets ....... but why they call it "update". Our cruise is this December.

If it does not apply to 'you' ignore it.
