How long should we anticipate waiting to board Oasis of the Seas at Port Canaveral?

 

Don't want to wait too long as have members in the group who have limited mobility. What is the best time to get there for the least amount of wait time?

If you arrive after 11 AM you shoildn't have to wait to board. Checkin is another matter.

Boarding usually begins 11:15-11:30.

 

There will be some venues open for lunch as soon as you board. Most will head for the Windjammer Buffet, but we prefer Park Cafe on Deck 8.

Or the hot dog place on Boardwalk. It wasn’t crowded and there are tables nearby. They have brats and Italian sausages as well.

If you get there AFTER boarding has started, you simply get in line, and board.....if you get there before 11:30 am, you may have to stand and wait.

We walked into the Terminal at 11:40am, barely slowed down in line at security, walked directly to a check in agent, and then walked directly on the ship. Was eating at the Park Cafe at 12:05pm.

Pretty much our experience last month. Cabins don't open until 1:00 PM.

 

Here's a list of what was open on our embarkation: Dog House, Johnny Rockets, Sabor, Giovanni's, Park Cafe, Solarium, Windjammer, and Wipe Out Cafe.
