deeko Posted November 11, 2017 #1 Share Posted November 11, 2017 Hello to all CC people. My wife and I will be arriving off the Jade into Miami. We will spend some days in Miami and will then head up to Port Canaveral to get onto the Epic. I just wondered if anyone had experience of this journey. Private transport preferred. As always I guess some people have done this journey and I will appreciate all ideas and experiences. Thanks as always for your help. 1025cruise Posted November 11, 2017 #2 Share Posted November 11, 2017 You might wish to ask this on the Florida Departures board. They should know the private drivers that offer this service.

MikeBTN Posted November 11, 2017 #4 Share Posted November 11, 2017 Why not rent a car?
deeko Posted November 11, 2017 Author #5 Share Posted November 11, 2017 Hi Mike, I thought that it would be difficult to rent from Miami and leave the car in Port Canaveral. One way rentals are very expensive in Europe. Thanks for your reply Deeko
MikeBTN Posted November 11, 2017 #6 Share Posted November 11, 2017 Hi Mike,I thought that it would be difficult to rent from Miami and leave the car in Port Canaveral. One way rentals are very expensive in Europe. Thanks for your reply Deeko No, very easy. No one-way fees in Florida, either. Should be relatively inexpensive, much cheaper than hiring a private vehicle. There are rental places near both ports that have free shuttle service to and from the ports. Enterprise, Budget, and Avis. I prefer Enterprise at Port Canaveral. Did a one-way rental last month from Miami to Port Canaveral - $49 (plus taxes) for a mid-size sedan. ColinIllinois Posted November 11, 2017 #9 Share Posted November 11, 2017 That's a good idea from Mike about the rental car. It's pretty much a straight shot up the coast so it will be hard to get lost. Just don't stop to pet the alligators. ;)
