We are used to pre-purchasing the WifI with Royal as it is usually less costly -

 

Question: We are Elite on Celebrity and to purchase before boarding is $285 for 14 day on Constellation -

 

Should we buy before or do we get a 30% discount as Elite to purchase onboard?

I believe the elite discount is 30% but you also receive an additional 10% discount if booking before boarding.

The Elite discount is not available through the website. Call Captains Club and they can give you the 30% discount. The pre cruise price is 10% less than onboard. If you have OBC you can use it pre cruise now.

Another suggestion since you said you are going to be on a 14 night cruise. Use your Elite minutes first, and then wait for them to offer a mid-cruise special. Much cheaper than buying it all upfront, unless you really need to be connected for long periods of time.

We tap use our free minutes first and see how the service is. Sometimes, it is so slow we just say "forget it". If one of us has to be in touch for longer periods, we opt for the mid cruise discount.

You get 90 minutes each, we also have used those first before purchasing.
