Question about cancelling and rebooking.

Recommended Posts

I have B2B cruises booked on Adventure for Feb. 24 and Mar. 3. If using the Black Friday deals I was to cancel and rebook these cruises ( if I could get a better deal) could I keep the same cabin. Right now I have the same cabin for both cruises. I have a refundable deposit and final payment is due Monday for the first cruise. I checked last week and got a price drop on both cruises but was wondering if it's possible to cancel and rebook but keep the same cabin. What say you ?

They will just adjust your price. They don't cancel the reservation.

Ok, can I change from refundable to non refundable deposit and save money that way even though I only have a few days before final payment ?

Yes, definitely change from the refundable to non- refundable if it will save you some money. Do not forget any additional OBC you may get (or loose).

Well, re-priced the cruise this morning and there wasn't much in benefits to be had. Could have paid an extra $48. to get $75 OBC but didn't bother. Changing it from refundable to non refundable would have cost me $300.+ more, I guess because it was too near the final payment date. She said it's only a good deal when you're 6 months out. Anyway, I did save about $450. earlier in the week when I asked them to check my res. for price drops. Both cruises are paid for. YAY !
