leaveitallbehind Posted November 30, 2017 #5 Share Posted November 30, 2017 Very unfortunate when these things happen and our thoughts go out to those involved hoping for the best. But medical situations occur everyday, everywhere, including during vacations and on board cruise ships. Just more difficult and unfortunate for all involved when it occurs on board. Hope all turns out well.
MikeNJ1109 Posted November 30, 2017 #6 Share Posted November 30, 2017 We were on the Harmony last week, and there was a "Code Alpha" announcement midday on Day 2. We never found out specific details, but folks were talking about it the rest of the afternoon. Hope those folks, but the person(s) in this case, are all right. chrisb74 Posted December 1, 2017 #7 Share Posted December 1, 2017 Apparently it was a crew member.
Pellaz Posted December 1, 2017 #8 Share Posted December 1, 2017 Apparently it was a crew member. Now I'm wondering exactly why the writer felt the "billion dollar" cost of the "cruise liner" had to be included in the story.
chrisb74 Posted December 2, 2017 #9 Share Posted December 2, 2017 Now I'm wondering exactly why the writer felt the "billion dollar" cost of the "cruise liner" had to be included in the story. Padding the story. Plus Fremantle/Western Australia gets so few ships its an event every time something Voyager class or larger shows up.
