Beverage promofree paid gratuities?

Does NCL always offer one promo for an inside room? We would be interested in the beverage plan. We are looking to book for 2018 but have not yet confirmed our plans but it's shows a countdown on the website? I don't want to rush and book a date today if the beverage plan is always an option. We understand we will have to pay the gratuities for this perk. Also, I have heard that sometimes they have one promo for an inside room and free paid gratuities. Is that correct?

The beverage package has been a promo item for years now. I don’t see it going anywhere soon.

 

There have occasionally been limits on what cabins get the promos, but generally that just relates to a few fare types.

Yes, I think that inside cabins are pretty much always limited to 1 promo. I’ve only seen ocean view that sometimes gets 1 and sometimes gets more. And yes, beverage package has been an option for years so unless the price is good, there’s no rush to book.

We booked an Oceanview with 2 promos. We chose the beverage and dining options. We do have to pay the 18% gratuites on both, but still a good deal IMO.

NCL very quietly raised the gratuites yesterday to 20%.

Gratuities as a perk has happened but is quite uncommon. It is taken up probably more than any other when offered.

I agree. If I have 2 perks, then I'd take the UDP and grats. If only one, then I'd take the grats.
