Dining on NYE on Breakaway

We are a group of 6 with 3 teens (13 yo) and we will be on Breakaway this New Years Eve. Should we make reservations now for the dining at MDR? Where do families hang out at midnight? We cruised before but not on NYE... not sure what to expect! Thanks

For new years NCL will give out noisemakers and shakers. I will also be on a cruise i made a reservation at my favorite pay restaurant. Hang out wherever you enjoy being. I hope I make it staying awake until midnight I have a 9 hour tour on the 31st and a 10 hour tour the next day on the 1st!

we make MDR reservations every night as we dont like to run the risk of a wait and having our night's schedule thrown off. with 6 people, id defintiely do this.

 

they had a special menu last NYE in the MDR. parties all over the ship. teh focus is all New Years.
