Iwant2BatC Posted December 19, 2017 #5 Share Posted December 19, 2017 I had one of the finest meals in my life at the Cape Grace hotel fancy restaurant. Impeccable service and exquisite food. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
Kauaijim Posted December 19, 2017 #6 Share Posted December 19, 2017 We stayed at the One and Only last year and had a great meal there. Its also an easy walk to the waterfront and we had several good meals there. Meal costs were shockingly inexpensive, same cant be said for the hotel room! great place. claranda Posted December 27, 2017 #7 Share Posted December 27, 2017 You probably don’t want to walk around a lot after dark, but Uber works brilliantly in Cape Town. We liked Kloof Street House and Millers Thumb.
kej1 Posted December 28, 2017 #8 Share Posted December 28, 2017 I think the best restaurant is The Test Kitchen. Not walking distance but short taxi.. have your hotel book in advance!
wripro Posted December 28, 2017 #9 Share Posted December 28, 2017 Second the Test Kitchen. But reserve way in advance.
tsavorite Posted December 28, 2017 #10 Share Posted December 28, 2017 I would also have recommended the Test Kitchen. We had a great lunch there after a cruise at the end of 2015. The food is wonderful. However, I think it is too late to get any bookings for February. The online booking tool shows no vacancies for February. KevinD1000 Posted January 11, 2018 #13 Share Posted January 11, 2018 Test Kitchen is a must do in Cape Town. Lunch is easier to get a reservation for. Do the wine pairings and don't try to drive after. Everyone except you will be on the wrong side of the road.:)
