BTB cruise changeover day in Yokohama

We arrive in Yokohama and stay onboard over night on the ship taking the next cruise out. We will be in transit passengers and the ship sails at 19.00hrs. What would be best, stay in Yokohama and use the HOHO bus for the day. Or arrange a tour or goodwill guide to take us to Toyko or any other nearby places we have not visited? Suggestions please?

If you have not visited Tokyo then I would visit it the first day. I would do it on an organized tour or take the train on your own.

 

Next day you can either do HOHO bus or walk around the area.

Have you visited Kamakura & Hase ?

Very easy to do as a DIY day trip from Yokohama.

Trains from Kannai Station which is a 20 min walk from the ship.

If this is your only chance to go to Tokyo, I would do that. If you prefer to stay in Yokohama we enjoyed the Ramen museum and the Sankeien gardens. If you like roller coasters, there are some good ones in Yokohama also.
