Any Tips For JFK to SJU Flights

We don't need the flight until 12/1/18 for Dec. 2nd Freedom cruise. Looks like our non stop choices are either Delta or Jet Blue. Delta looks like they will post soon, better times, probably higher prices.

My question......is it better to wait until JB posts or go with Delta? Any other options? Any suggestions........thanks

I'll assume you don't have a preference based on travel rewards? If so, it might be better to wait on Jet Blue, predicting they will have a lower fare based on a same date mock booking in March for comparision. Jet Blue was $600 non stop while Delta was $800.

JetBlue seats are more comfortable and have more leg room than the basic economy seats on Delta. You would have to pay even more for Delta comfort seats to match JetBlue.

I used freq. flyer points for a non stop on American booked about 9 months in advance. After the hurricane, we got switched to a jfk - mia -sju route even though we were flying business class. Sometimes you think you have a good plan and then the airline does something unpredictable.

We have flown JetBlue from JFK to San Juan for the past 2 years. The timing on their return flights are better and we prefer their service. I would wait and see what they come up with.
