Priority Tendering Question

Sorry, I know this has probably been asked before, but wondering if someone who has had experience with this could provide a quick answer.

We are going on a Mexican Riviera cruise. We have priority tendering, but my son and his wife who are traveling with us do not. Will they be able to get on the tender with us, or will they have to go get their own tender ticket and wait for their number to be called?

Cruise Critic board answer - Why should they? Have they paid for or earned that benefit?

 

On board the ship getting ready to tender answer - Yay, let's get off this ship and hit the town for some fun stuff to do. Oh, excuse me, go ahead, you're with them.

Unless you have a very early excursion, simply take your time leaving in the morning..not everyone is in a hurry to get off. After the 1st tender or 2, you simply board the next one...not a big deal at all.

Yes they can. You will need to go to the Guest Service Desk and show them your SS Card, and ask them for a escort off the ship, they will take you and up to 4 other people to the elevator and down to the A Deck and put you in line ahead of others to get off on the tender, this is only good to leave the ship, coming back you will need to get into the line for the tender like everyone else, no priority on the return.

Just did Mexico cruise on Miracle. Priority tendering passengers met in one of the bars and were escorted to the tenders. No one was checked, no problem is having someone else with you.
